STEVE LOGAN: NEW ALBUM – ‘WANTED ALIVE’ (2016)
Steve Logan, well-known on the Cambridge circuit, returns to the Portland to launch his new album, Wanted Alive. Expect a blend of delicate acoustic balladry and high-octane rock.
STEVE LOGAN is a Welsh singer-songwriter working on the borderline between folk and rock. His chief musical influence is probably Neil Young. After singing in subways, indie bands, cover bands and a long-standing tribute to Free, Steve has developed his career as a solo artist. He has recently released three solo albums of his own songs Signs and Wonders (2014), Deliverance (2015) and now Wanted Alive (2016).
In many gigs, Steve plays an acoustic set followed by an electric one. For the launch, Steve will joined by his band, Geronimo, named with a nod to Crazy Horse, featuring the manifold musical talents of Rhys Wilson (guitars), Andy Cross (bass) and Phil Bryant (drums).
