Headliner – Heidi Regan –
With more than a decade’s experience as a comedy writer, Heidi enjoyed a meteoric rise through the stand-up comedy ranks. She has won two of the most coveted prizes in comedy; the So You Think You’re Funny? title at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016, following in the footsteps of comedians including Peter Kay, Aisling Bea, Alan Carr and Lee Mack, before scooping the BBC New Comedy Award prize in 2017. She has since gigged around the world, including performances at the prestigious Just For Laughs in Montreal and tour support for Joe Lycett, Phil Wang and Milton Jones.

Heidi will be joined by Kate Martin, Paul Merryk and Prateek Kohli. All brought together by Commoners’ resident MC Ali Warwood.

Combining his confident on stage presence, dark humour, surreal material and his one-of-kind customised keyboard, Huge has quickly risen to become one the most unique acts in the UK.

After reaching the finals of the Leicester Square Comedian of the Year, Amused Moose New National Comic Award, Hackney Empire New Act of the Year and the Musical Comedy Awards in 2018, Huge debuted his first show ‘The Carpark’ at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019. A complete sell-out, it received multiple five-star reviews and an Edinburgh Comedy Award Nomination for Best Newcomer. The show transferred to the Soho Theatre and was featured as Time Out’s No.1 comedy show to see.

Huge appears regularly on television, including appearances include 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Harry Hill’s Clubnite, Roast Battle, Jools Holland, Hypothetical, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Live at the Comedy Store, Comedians Giving Lectures and The Stand Up Sketch Show. Huge performs both in the UK and internationally, also supporting Phil Wang and Joe Lycett on their national tours.

The Portland and Commoner’s comedy present something special to celebrate Steve & Hayley running the Portland 20 years this weekend as well as a monthly Comedy night!

Her performances have not only earned critical acclaim but have also resulted in sold-out runs and tours at prestigious venues and festivals, including the Edinburgh festival fringe 2022/2023 and Soho theatre.

She won chortle best newcomer in 2022 and was funny women finalist. Celya has left her mark on notable shows such as live at the apollo and off menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster.

She is just about embark on her next national tour so we are delighted to get a sneak peak so do not miss out!

As seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Spring Day is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor in London. Spring’s uniquely acerbic and sassy style of comedy is always a crowd pleaser, or shocker… A fluent Japanese speaker and a mild cerebral palsy haver, Spring began her career headlining at the Tokyo Comedy Store whilst based in Japan. She has written, produced, directed and performed seven solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Spring will be joined by the brilliant David Tsonos, Mark Ahier and Elliott Wengler alongside our resident MC Ali Warwood.
