Blowing My Own Trumpet is an exciting world music band from Exeter Devon and features the original songwriting of South African trumpeter Claude Lamon and his daughter Josephine Lamon. Formed in December 2018 when they released their EP “Dreams” .
In 2020 they released debut album “Umsindo” and features their sun soaked world African , Latin and folk fusion roots music sound . The following year they had the privilege of performing at Lost fest and Cornwall folk music festival and in the last few years they have had a growing local and international following across their social media and streaming platforms.
Their show on October 8th 2022 will be supported by the Cambridge band The 29th Funktion.
