WILL AND THE PEOPLE
Will & The People are back on the road, following a live hiatus the band are doing a string of UK and European shows this summer, all acoustic, but with a twist. See them in their rawest of forms testing new material under BHPCO events as they prepare for their fourth studio album.
This is not to be missed…
EdwardAlice are an acoustic band from Cambridge. They’ve been gigging since January 2013, and provide highly engaging and melodic lyrics with catchy hooks and characters you come to love. Influenced by The Beatles, Nizlopi, Will and the People and Toots and the Maytals. Their instrumentation is beautifully simple but hugely effective.
Oscar Corney is an independent singer songwriter from Cambridge with a strongly developed songwriting style and unique voice. Within a year into his development before the release of his EP ‘Be Someone’, his achievements had already begun to attract audiences to his music. In 2015 he won Cambridge’s NMG award for breakthrough act and has supported various widely known artists, such as JP Cooper (Island Records).
This is going to be the best night BHPCO has been a part of so far. To get our favourite band, plus some of the best up-and-coming artists in Cambridge is massive for us and the more people involved, the better. If you haven’t heard of them, check their stuff out. They’re epic. It is going to be an incredible night, so support your local and get yourselves down. //
