Britain’s Got Talent auditions at The Portland
The Britain’s Got Talent Production Team will be visiting Cambridge and the Portland on the 1st September looking for a range of fresh talent.
TV Researcher Jenny Garton says “We will be in Cambridge doing these pre-auditions, looking for talent for the show.
“It’s also our tenth year, so this will be our anniversary show, so we are looking to go bigger and better than ever before.”

Tivoli fire and road closures
Due to a serious fire at the Tivoli Weatherspoons opposite Chesterton Road is closed. Those coming down for the Band Comp heats and for the football/rugby can access the pub from Victoria Road or Milton Road.
Power was cut for a while for safety but has now been restored so we are fully open.
